There are many ongoing challenges ahead for SF public schools - a huge budget deficit, school closures/mergers/co-locations, and a new student assignment process in development. The Board of Education will be making some critical decisions in the future and this November, there will be 4 openings on the Board of Education. It will be crucial to elect the right candidates for the BOE to move the district forward and to keep our public schools viable and successful for our children, our grandchildren and for all children in our public schools!
